I’m Najja Banks and awhile ago I learned the importance of creating a financial plan B. I began to realize that the security that a “job” provided in the past is not the same environment today. As we have seen in recent months that your life could be totally dependent on somebody at the top of your company making a bad decision that could end up eliminating your job and then you’re left trying to figure out what to do.
At first, I was excited about being a rep with a popular direct sales travel company. As soon as I got started I was told to make a list or purchase leads and make a lot of phone calls to generate some sales. I quickly learned that this method of marketing was not what the really successful people were doing. There also didn’t seem to be a system in place that everyone could use successfully. Something seemed to be missing and I wasn’t sure what it was. I struggled for about a year and then just gave up and quit and continued my search for the right “System” of marketing so I could be successful no matter what business I chose to market.
I continued my search and began to learn a lot about “attraction marketing” and decided that this is the right way to go about building relationships and businesses so that I could have some stability. This was a way for me to go into the market and not have to directly compete with the next home business ad.
